Leslie Lundgren Design is a boutique residential interior design firm based in Santa Barbara. We specialize in furnishings, textiles, art, and construction, the end result being the creation of a home that is authentic to the lifestyle and personality of the client. We believe that memorable interiors reflect the biography of the home’s inhabitants while showing deference to the landscape, geography, and a sense of place. Our practice is rooted in California but incorporates European and global influences into a seamless, harmonious collage. We believe in design that is thoughtful and layered: we seek a balance between traditional and contemporary design while respecting a home’s architectural integrity. With this as our guiding principle, our work never feels over-designed or precious. Interior design is a language. Leslie is fluent across various design styles and is keen to honor the client’s personal voice, resulting in a home that has as much soul as style.

LLD and the Maison del Sol collection
Maison del Sol is a curated online marketplace born from the desire to share unique objects and textiles from around the globe that maintain a distinctly Santa Barbara point of view. We collect and source textiles, pottery, antiques, art as if they were personally discovered souvenirs. Layered in a room, these treasures create exceptionally inviting spaces. Our selections have a certain joie de vivre and spontaneity: each piece has been hand picked by Maison del Sol, to determine if it meets our handcrafted, high quality materials that, together, form a timeless fusion.
